NEW LEGEND GROUP is out from 利昂船务有限公司. which is established by MR.LIU BIN who is President of the Group. Through
利昂船务有限公司, founded on 1994, MR.LIU BIN and other elites devoted themselves in maritime. Through decades of development and reconstruction, NEW LEGEND GROUP has gradually grown up to one of the giant comprehensive international shipping company in the shipping market of North China.
MAIN STEPS OF DEVELOPMENT AS FOLLOWINGS:
1994 利昂船务有限公司 was established, involving in shipping of bulk and general cargo from xingang to main ports of Korea.
1997 Tianjin New Legend Int'l Forwarding Agency Co.,Ltd. was established. Involving the Container business covered world-wide lines, and Forwarding business which based on Xingang China.
2001 Start the Time-Charter business and T/C in six vessels with DWT from 5000mt to 10000mt.
2002 Rename to “ TIANJIN NEW LEGEND INT'L MARINE CO., LTD.” as a private shipping enterprise with NVOCC that authorized by the MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATIONS firstly.
2003 TIANJIN NEW LEGEND INVESTMENT CO., LTD. was established for enhancing the level of management and development. Since then Tianjin New Legend Int'l Marine Co., Ltd. and Tianjin New Legend Int'l Forwarding Agency Co.,Ltd. and other branch offices were under control of TIANJIN NEW LEGEND INVESTMENT CO., LTD.
2003 In April, LIANYUNGANG branch office was established which main business involving the liner service form LIANYUNGANG to INCHON, and keeping four liner vessels into this line.
2003 Promoting more time-charter business and total twelve vessels as T/C in vessels with DWCC 5000mt to 13000mt were under control.
2004 In August, C-RAINBOW INT'L CO., LTD. was established., which was the joint venture company of NEW LEGEND GROUP and SOONYOUNG MARITIME CO., LTD KOREA. The joint venture company mainly deal in shipping agency business and logistics service which covered inland of Korea.
2004 In October purchased in the first owned vessel named “MV. NEW LEGEND 1.” Which DWT/7500MT
2004 In October, TIANJIN XIN HAI INT'L SHIP MANAGEMENT CO., LTD. was established to serve for vessels' safety management system and technical support.
2004 In December purchased in the second owned vessel named MV. NEW LEGEND SUN which DWT/10500MT
2005 In April, Tianjin Xintian Int'l Shipping Agency Co., Ltd. was established both at XINGANG port and LIANYUNGANG port, which mainly deal in shipping agency service both in LIANYUNGANG and XINGANG.
2005 In June, purchased in the third owned vessel named “MV NEW LEGEND STAR” which DWT/15400.
2005 In December ,Along with the changing of international shipping market, sold out two owned vessels “MV.NEW LEGEND 1” and “MV.NEW LEGEND SUN”.
2006 In April, the Qingdao branch was set up. And provided the service of the liner from Qindao to the main ports of Korea.
2006 In May, the Nantong branch established. It mainly deals in the chartering/brokering services from the port along the Changjiang River to the ports of Japan, Korea, and South East Asia.
2007 In January, purchase in the vessel named “MV.SHUN YUAN NO .3”
2007 In January, purchased two general cargo ships which named “MV.NEW LEGEND HARVEST” and MV.NEW LEGEND FORTUNE with DWT about 23000MT. in order to enhance the cooperation with COSCO SHIPPING CO LTD, these vessels were put into the cooperative business with COSCO on the lines to Persian Gulf, India, Red Sea, Africa, etc.
2007 In February, Tianjin New Legend Shipping Co., Ltd was established, and purchased in the vessel named “MV.XIN XIANG HE” with the fiag of People Republic of china dwt/9300mt.
In March, purchased in the vessel named MV. NEW LEGEND GLORY with dwt/3250mt
At the beginning of 2007, according to the group's strategic development planning, all the existing resources was adjusted, and reconstructed the new incorporated group-- NEW LEGEND GROUP. In the group, the enterprises are reconstituted as joint-stock companies. The group realized the management mechanism that share and hold the stock of all the underling enterprises.
